I'm happy with this purchase overall. It arrived really well packaged and the main tools seem strong, well made and well put together. I was impressed that they were protected with a blue film so that the blades don't get scratched up during delivery. The handles of the digging tools are solid wood. The cutters are decent enough, too. I did have a chuckle at the mini tools, though. They were SO much smaller than I'd anticipated and I can't honestly predict how useful they're going to be, especially as they are a little bit flimsy and bendy on the metal working ends of them and feel a bit more like garden toys for kids...maybe they'll be good for working around seedlings or small plants in pots so I'll give them try for that purpose. The spray bottle is really small as well and I don't think we'll get much use out of it but maybe it'll be a good little mist sprayer...havent tried it yet so that's an unknown function possibility at this point. Something to note about the gloves - it's only the right hand one that has the claws so that could be an issue of you are left hand dominant. Both gloves seem decent quality overall and are comfortable on. I have medium sized female hands and I'd say there is enough room and "give" for up to medium size man hands and might be a bit snug on a man's large hands. The tool holder bag is decent quality too, looks good and seems useful and true to its intended purpose. This was a really good buy and I got it at an excellent value for money deal. Would definitely buy it again having got it and I think this would also be a very nice gift for someone with an interest in gardening.

These garden hand tools are a good addition to your garden tool kit. They are stainless steel with wooden handles which seem securely fitted. Being stainless they should last a decent time without rusting although it is advisable to dry them after use. The weak point in most of this type of tool I had had in the past is where the tool joins the handle. I have had many break when being too enthusiastic. These seem to be quite robust but do flex as would be expected at this point so time will tell. The trowels have depth scales on them which is particularly helpful when planting bulbs. The handles have a hole drilled in them to enable hanging when stored. The only slight disappointment for me was the fact that the wooden handles were not very smooth ad the edges of the trowels slightly rough, not major problems but disappointing.

The wooden handles are a little bit rough in places, but most of the time I am wearing gloves when gardening so that won't be an issue. The handles are firmly attached to the metal parts of the tool, so there won't be any problems with the handles falling off. The tools are quite light weight, which will make them easier to use for an extended period of time. The trowels both have a ruler embossed on them, so you can measure the depth that you are digging to - which is a nice touch for helping you to get the hole at the correct depth the first time before removing whatever you are planting from it's pot.

This tool set is of a reasonable quality. Nice to see wooden handles rather than plastic. The stainless steel blades are well made. As with many similar products, the weak point is where the blade meets the handle - this is where flexing is most likely to occur. On these tools, this area is reasonable, but far from the strongest I have encountered. Currently (at time of review), there is no price quoted for this set, I am therefore unable to comment on whether they represent good value or not.
